We have designed a number of short courses including Short Martial Arts, Kung Fu and Self Defence training courses which are ideal as an introduction to Shaolin Kung Fu or as simply as a short fun day, for people just passing through. Training is intensive in small groups under our experienced, friendly team of instructors and really gives you something to take away and build on.

Shaolin Kung Fu

The ancient martial art of China, ideal for self defence and developing body, mind and spirit. It bestows courage, confidence, fitness, power and discipline. Find out for yourself what makes kung fu so famous.

Tai Chi

Learn the rare Sun style tai chi. The 13 step form is short enough to be learned in a few days but can be practiced for a lifetime.

Shuang Yang Pei Ho

The sun frost white crane soft art. Buddhist equivalent to Tai Chi. A rare internal Shaolin art originating from the Southern Shaolin Temple in Fukien.

Chi Kung For Health and Long Life

The art of accumulating and circulating natural ‘chi’ energy to improve health, dispel fatigue, reverse ageing and prolong life. The super fresh air in the mountains around Pai is perfect for the practise of chi kung.

Chi Kung for Internal Power

Filipino Stick and Knife Fighting

Practical training with short sticks and knives, often one in each hand, and how to defend against them if you are unarmed. Very useful knowledge on how to use weapons which can be easily found and easily hidden.

Knife Defence

Learn how to deal with someone threatening or attacking you with a knife! We can show you some amazingly clever ways to disarm someone. You do not need to be physically strong. Can be extended to include other weapons as well.

Martial Arts for Street Fighting

Simple techniques and tactics to win fights! Use psychology. Surprise your opponent. Know where to hit and how to hit hard and fast. Finish your opponent quickly before they finish you. Tips and tactics from experienced street fighters who used them successfully enough that they are still alive!
